Desiree DeLong
Desiree DeLong is a Brooklyn, New York based artist and designer. Hand crafted, personal creations are a lifelong passion. When she's not working in her Bushwick metal studio, Desiree can be found building elaborate wedding dresses and custom garments for an elite, word of mouth clientele. A former seamstress for the theater and ballet, she now focuses her creative skills on metal work. She studied with Lola Brooks at Penland School of Craft and worked as studio assistant for Jeong Ju Lee prior to starting her Brooklyn studio. Desiree DeLong also happens to be a Registered Nurse with 5 years working at Duke Hospital in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit.
